Bug: Screen flickers on both sides

The screen flickers on both sides of the game on my widescreen monitor. I play doom in 4:3. The image flickers rapidly between solid black and the desktop image where the black bars should be solid. It does this and stays like this after starting the program or when changing levels. It does not happen every time when starting the program, but happens very often and is easily reproducible.

It has done this with every version of GZDoom I have tried occasionally over the years. Incidentally, it also does this with ZDoom and I will report it there as well. It does not do this with Chocolate Doom or Crispy Doom.

I am running MacOS on an iMac (27 inch, Mid 2010) and it has does this with every version of the operating system as long as I have used it.

I hope this bug can be fixed.
