I agree completely. However, I'd like to point out that DooM Nexus is also updated quite frequently, and there is plenty that's going on.

I'm mostly inactive because either i work on maps which i don't show to public in beta-state or play super-extremely-hard shoot-em'ups.... i can only tell you that a new awesome map is incoming however, it won't be out soon ;)

This place quite badly needs a revitalization, doesn't it? Well, with all the stuff that's been happening in the community as of late, we really should start updating again if we want this to be viable community site.

So first of all, we've got GZDoom, probably the only place on DRDTeam that continues to be popular and updates relatively frequently. They're up to version 1.1.0, and Graf Zahl has been doing SVN updates as well, so those of you "in the know" can go download the latest SVN builds and goof around with experimental new features.

The Doom Armory (my own base of operations) hasn't seen a terrible lot of activity, aside from continued journal updates from both Lizardcommando and Duducrazy - I've taken it upon myself to start posting updates for my mods there as well after a couple months of doing so in the ZDoom forums. Here's the thing though - my journal updates are going on the Armory's main page. So it's a two for one deal. You get to see exactly what I've been doing, the Armory gets front page updates.

While BioHazard hasn't been around lately, his site is still very much worth a look, as it contains a lot of interesting utilities (and other miscellaneous things), including two programs that I absolutely swear by: ZDL and KwikStrip. Couldn't imagine living without either of them.

The forums have slowly been undergoing a bit of a structure change as well. This is probably old news for those that frequent the forums, but I personally have done some stuff to make the forum experience a little more organized. We've now got an Editing Help forum for people to ask for help on their projects, a Reviews area where you can post your reviews of released wad files, and also as of today, I've opened the Cold Hard Cash 2 development forum to the public so that people can see what actually got finished of this long-deceased project.

I'll do what I can to keep this place alive!
