It's a sound idea for a project, but from the video I can see a good number of shortcomings. The models are just horrible, as is typical of Doomsday models. The animations look really fake and artificial and don't really look much like actual weapons being fired. And perhaps the most annoying of all: the footsteps. I'm not going to argue that footsteps ruin "that Doom feeling" (as I'm guilty of using footsteps in wwhc-diaz), but the thing is, these footsteps are so loud and playing at such a quick rate that it just gets irritating.
