Nevermind.

As soon as I posted this, I figured out i could delete the sector and then create two separate 3d floors with a different sector tag to that of the main bridge.

Duh!

Here is a screenshot of what I'm working on. I'm remaking E1M1 of Quake to see how far Gzdoom can be pushed with 3d floors and slopes etc.

With the bridge here, I successfully made the top part of the bridge, but when it came to adding the beam below, because it was of the same sector and shared the same sector tag, it made the lower 3d floor of the bridge take up all the sectors with the same sector tag. The lower part is only supposed to take up a small sector at each end of the walkway.

Is there a way around this?
