yeah ... my old forum didn't have any registration requirements, not even email... i got about 80 porn spams a day. had to trash the whole board. i do have a guest board now on my new one but no one ever posts on it (no one ever posts on it anyway lol)

I could actually make a forum and enable guest posting. I'll definitely need more random "r u human" questions to throw at people, though, because I don't believe the CAPTCHA system works, and my biggest worry is spam.

I threw this idea on the ST forum but I thought I'd post it here as I know SP is keen on hosting everything doom related, it may interest her more :wink:
I was thinking of some other editing "helpline" like a web based board that users can sign up to. Users could post up editing queries on the board and those who've signed up can answer them. Answering them gives the user points, depending on how fast the query is answered and confirmed solved, the more points the solver gets. What do points do? Other than putting them up on a "most helpful" leaderboard I don't know. I have no idea how I would even begin to create something like this though.
Just an idea, I'm not expecting this to actually happen :P
