Yeah, that seemed to work! Thanks! :)

Hmm... Can you look at your config at %AppData%\ecwolf. Look for the keys FullScreenWidth and FullScreenHeight and set those to your desktop resolution. Does that resolve the crash? Just remembered that we have independent full screen and windowed resolution settings.

Yeah, it does: http://puu.sh/cljl5/2c6f9527ce

Does ECWolf prompt you to save a crash dump? Can't really think of what might be causing that issue off hand.

The development build seems to save my settings, but now it crashes while trying to go fullscreen, no matter the resolution.

Do you have the same issue with the latest development build? http://devbuilds.drdteam.org/ecwolf/ (Note development builds are 32-bit.)

I am also having this problem. I completely deleted ECWolf, tried both 32 bit and 64 bit, but it just refuses to save my settings.

No 32-bit on 64-bit is supported just fine. The issue seemed to be uninitialized memory which I expected the Windows API to fill a certain way. I had someone have the same issue with the 64-bit builds.

Problem solved. I was using the 32bit on 64bit windows.

Hmm. PM me the full path to your %AppData%.

One thing you can probably do in the mean time is to use "--config C:\_games\ecwolf\ecwolf.cfg --savedir C:\_games\ecwolf"

ECWolf does not need admin rights to run.

Error: could not create settings directory

I get this settings error when I run ECwolf 1.3 - game is playable but settings are not saved. Ignore the sod errors.
Also, the Escape key does not work in the Wolf3d menu but does work with SoD.
I tried this in a clean ecwolf install, and moved the files in the %AppData%/ecwolf folder to another folder, and even deleted the ecwolf folder there.
ECwolf is being ran with admin rights too. (win7)
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

Lovin' this port btw!! :D
