So was this added to the to-do list or do I have to go through the hassle of creating a bitbucket account to create a thread for it despite the fact that I will never login to it again?

I ask since there has been no reply to my last post and I don't see a thread pertaining to it in the link you provided.

Ability to disable automatic weapon switching

When picking up a weapon in a higher number slot for the first time the game by default automatically equips you with it which is annoying especially if you are in the middle of a fight sequance. Please allow an optional toggle to disable this like other source ports as a quality of life feature.
