Breakable Glass?

I've always been curious about it.

What is it, how do I use it? Is there a tutorial on it?

I guess its not important, I'm just wondering about it.

I've never seen a tutorial about the subject of 'Breakable Glass'. However, I know of three pWADs which feature it:

GOKSCRIB.WAD by Gokuma
cscastle.wad by Biff
nj_Smash02.wad by Enjay

It's just a matter of reverse engineering the author's efforts. :D :twisted:

Hexen used breakable glass for some of it's stained glass windows, an example was included with WadAuthor. I used it in 007LTSD.wad and Sonic.wad but those are Duke-style rather than Hexen-style.

I'm not sure about the other examples posted, but I think I used the Hexen method in the nj_Smash02.wad example posted above. I *think* at least one of the others posted by NeoHippo may have used a dehacked method (Like HacX?) but I'd have to check to be certain.
