Too texturized - imagine this logo in smaller variants, too many details just get lost or the logo itself is hard to read later on. Hey by the way, glad to see you back Paul

I also wonder how it would look in smaller versions. Personally, I think it looks great at the size it is but it may well lose something when shrunk down.

It is now 204x64 plus palletted and transparency for fun of it. Scaling down is a matter of choosing the proper way to do it and, naturally, the sharpen filter

Hmmm, it did scale down quite nicely. However, in the smaller format, the GZ looks to be at a slightly different angle to the DooM and therefore it looks a bit "added on". Of course, that may be intentional.

I think its the font on the GZ, but apart from that it looks pretty good.
(Why didn't I think of that?)

Yeah, the GZ is different because I don't have the Doom font and couldn't make them look like the D,o's and m of the Doom. Guess I fail But maybe it's better that they are different. Dunno. Thanks for the cmts.
