Ah, nice. Anyways, you could add the SMG and the plasma and the GL, which'd add some more funness, but then again, your mod.

I'll consider adding the N64 weapons to this, but first I need to see some screenshots of them to get an idea what they look like. I don't think I'll add the alternate ammo types. I think it would simply be too much trouble to add new ammo types when I've already balanced out the current arsenal as is. I'm concerned that it would require more time to rebalance everything and is just not worth the extra time. New weapons are fine, however, as they can either be hidden or extras.

GL: 1
Plasma: 1
SMG: 1

Here's the rest of what I could find. Here

Apperantly, they also had atomic pak's microwave expander gun as well.

I'm considering adding the double SMGs as a bonus weapon that will randomly spawn with the pistol pickup. It's not set in stone, so it might not make it in, but it's a possibility.

I feel GLs are overdone, so in that weapon's place, I'm going to add a crossbow. Now, you're probably saying, "...but Snarboo, crossbows are just as overdone as GLs!" That might be true, but keep in mind that this is a crossbow...LUKE KILLEM STYLE! Instead of firing arrows, the crossbow will fire Devastator mini-rockets. The crossbow will be completely silent, making it a stealthy explosive weapon. As a balancing mechanism, the rockets will move slower and do less damage on impact compared to the Devastator, but will still do the same damage upon exploding. It will also fire much slower, too.

As for the Plasma gun, I'm not too sure about that one. I was thinking about creating an alien weapon, which I guess would replace it. What it will do, I have NO idea, though. It might just be the Microwave Expander gun with a new skin, or it might be something completely different.

Basically it's a chargable BFG with different types of power depending on how long the charge.

The plasma gun's coolest trait, in my opinion, was the unique death animation that it produced - upon killing an enemy, they would just become a black sillouhette that gradually became more transparent and eventually vanished entirely. I suppose I could get a FRAPS movie of this.

Hmm, interesting. That gives me an idea. In place of the Plasma Gun, I'll have a weapon that disintergrates enemies in one hit, since creating charging weapons is very difficult to do in EDGE. The projectile will have a chance of "malfunctioning", which instead of disintegrating the enemy, it might do something else to it.

Works for me.

Alas, too bad you can't rip anything from that game, damn hud.

Heh, I doubt Snarboo planned to rip anything anyway.

Started work on the duel SMGs. The SMGs will use the pistol's ammo, and will also double the amount of pistol ammunition you can carry at one time. Also, Zombiemen will now drop full clips of 12 rounds, and the clip pickup will be two clips. I might also make the chaingun ammo box drop single clips of pistol ammunition so it doesn't become too scarce later in the game.

The SMGs are in, and the pickup is fully coded. I'll take screenshots tomorrow after I add the ejecting shells to them.

Screenshot time! Both of these pictures were taken with TNT-Evilution.

Where did those come from? They have a little too much contrast I think...

Tekwar, by Capstone. Yeah...they weren't exactly the best sprite artists. :/ I might tweak them in the Gimp to make them appear darker. Otherwise, I think they look fine.
