Lightings and coronas

First impression: wohaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
Then...
Coronas...
And there are also those unknown RROCK and SLIME textures...
And I fail to launch the game at z1m1: I begin at e1m1, then I have to quite the game and select to begin a new one.
And I don't see the TITTLEPIC.
And... that's all for now.
I forgot: the fact to select "Smart" for the sprites is wrong. I have to select "Always" to avoid to have them in the ground (at least for z1m1)
Graf, it would be so fine that you finally adjust this old problem... Thank you!

Use the Doom Iwad, not Doom2

How could I begin at e1m1 if I was using the Doom2 iwad... And I'm not that stupid.

Changing "always" to "smart" don't affect those lightings, man!!! LOL
They are NOT sprites, but coronas!!!... Hmmm.... They are sprites?!?

If I set to smart, it seems that ALL things are half way through the floor, like cutted in half..
that sucks, but in these lights blur things, it looks approrpiated

@Jive:
I didn't want to tell you're stupid with my comment, but choosing the wrong Iwad was a problem for many other users, so I thought I'd mention it!

Folks, just use the software renderer.
When I developped that effect I anticapated Gzdoom will have problems rendering it correctly.
I wonder.. How many people will start using this sorta hack now that Torm mentioned it on his mapping tutorial and kdizd is out?

This is odd.. are you using latest Zdoom? Are you using some launcher to play the game? I would just batch "zdoom.exe -file kdizd.pk3" and start the new game. There's no TITLE-PIC btw, but a TITLE-MAP.

I guess we don't need text files anymore people don't seem to read them at all *sigh*

Vader's sprites alone are a very good reason to download this. Good job.

The first lesson in developing anything:
Most people are stupid
Even non-stupid people are mostly lazy.
Stupid and lazy people don't read manuals.

Do you have something personal against Jive?

I just think that is annoying that someone insists on thinking that the developpers have fed a mod with bugs just because someone is just too lazy to read a manual that's there for a reason.
