Unless WoW 2 comes out.

World Of Warcraft 2, even more addictive than World Of Warcraft 1!

Nah, just wait until the Burning Crusade expansion set comes out. We might lose Randy indefinitely.

It's only 10 more levels. :P

However, at level 69 you'll probabally need 9223372036854775807 XP to get to advance level or something like that.

For those interested, I've been told by a WOW addict that leveling up to level 70 requires 1,000,000 xp, or at least that's what blizzard seem to have said.

2-10 % better than Winzip?
Muhahahaha!!! Incredibly important !!
Up to 300% on games content (25% on DOOM2.WAD) I have cases when a compressed size of some files was 1.2 Gb with WinRar (not with WinZip even) and 600 Mb with 7-zip (maximal compression mode with solid both there and there) Also, 7-zip is totally free, open-source and faster because it used my two processors during compression. But I agree with Graf, we should use zip only for public things.

Yeah, however, he may coordinate more with GzDoom and have them "testbed" certain enchanced features that he determines are beyond the scope of the current zDoom

Personally I'm likely going to be working on OdaMex, but I'll gladly share my ideas with Randy and once zDoom is fully GPL I'll even share full notes on my code. This is regardless of whether or not his team returns the favor. (He already has, partially, by releasing some of the zDoom code to GPL if the odamex can remove the stuff owned by other people.) I say flooding someone with your good karma is a good way to get things rolling in the right dirrection.

Putting out sugar water will attract bees and flies alike, but flies will never use it as a nest, as the intense sugar water would instantly kill the maggots they leave behind. Unlike a pile left by a bull, which will surely provide a source to find flies, but you'll get some pretty nasty karmatic backlash if you try to step on that big fly that lands on it.

(Nothing like a good ol' farm parable to analagize free software logic)

Odamex is like Action Doom. A lot of hype. I wish people would stop talking about it because it's not even out yet and everyone is acting like it's the next big thing. Even Action Doom wasn't all that great.

I found it to be incredibally fun, albeit short.

So, is this going to be implemented, or what?

If the feature does get added, I hope that it does not kill the less efficient slope options that many mappers use in SkullTag and Zdaemon. Hope there is a way to keep both the old slope format and add the new. I am only mentioning this for WAD compatibility purposes.

What makes you even think they could not coexist? :?
