Same here... I mean it's obvious that Shinjanji not only knows, but has all
the skills and abilities to succeed at this project. I can only hope that he accepts my offer to please "Spearhead" this project and tutor those who are willing to help make this a success! I am sure that many of us in the Doom community would like to see this happen. We need your help Shinjanji!

I'm using Corel's Paint Shop Pro X ver. 10.03

Thank you... :thumb:

P.S. If we can get a few more members interested in helping then these can be panned out so there isn't such a heavy load on one person.

It's a novel idea, but I'm not sure if I should. Quite frankly, I have a bad habit of never finishing what I start. I can drop by to give hints and tips, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to direct a team just yet. Maybe if I can get my interest to hold, we could take it somewhere, but I doubt it.

Also unfortunately, the only program I really know is Photoshop. I've been using it since I was 13, and I'm 20 now.

But if you guys want a bit of a step-by-step on something simple, I suppose I could work something up...

Shinjanji

Any participation you can provide would be highly appreciated...

It's just when you posted those texture sprites back in the thread, I had the impression you were going to jump right in and help, not just showing-off!

As far as PhotoShop, I have the Adobe PhotoShop Elements 5.

If anyone can produce the quality image Shinjanji has posted earlier in this thread, please let me know. I am trying to put together a team that will assist in making Hi-Res 4x sprites for Doom 2.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Look at Shinjanji's first post in page 1 and look at the demon's leg. This is the quality I need in all the sprites, [1,381] of them, so I can process them as "raw data" into wad form, to be used for Doom 2 mappers wishing for Hi-Res sprites.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

If I can't put a team together... this project goes under. :(

What you're talking about is an extremely large feat. However, I would suggest taking it over to the ZDoom forums for more exposure concerning the project.

But as for the jumping-in-and-helping vs. showing-off:
I was too impulsive, and "jumped right in" into both ZDF and KDiZD. With both of them, I found that my time was simply not sufficient to stay with the projects. So now, I'm quite hesitant at joining any team efforts. I may drop by from time to time to donate any sprites I finish, however, as they are a good bit of fun to do, and are also great skill-builders.

I'd like to invite anyone who is interested in participating in this project to come over to DWS forum to check us out. Right at the moment, we're having difficulties in getting this damn thing off the ground. We are in dire need of a Graphics Artist that can take command of the processes needed to succeed. In addition, a few more editors wouldn't hurt either. Currently, we're like the blind leading the blind! We have folks dedicated to seeing this project work, but we need some folks that has the knowledge of graphics. Thank you...

Please consider...
