No comments on Doom++?

Glade is also a room fragrencer .

I forgot about those... they smell nice!

Glade:

An open space in a forest - a clearing.
A marshy and usually low-lying area.
A periodically inundated grassy marsh often running between adjacent slopes.
A marshy area bounding or forming the headwaters of a stream.
An everglade.
A city in Kansas.

and the other stuff mentioned. Just remember, when you go to buy a glade air freshener, don't come home with a tract of marshy land. No one will thank you for it.

And I still like GZDoom, (even if it doesn't support ducking. )

Glade has one big problem: There's no Doom in the name.

Adding this one to the "does what it says on the tin" family:
FALDoom (Floors-And-Lights)

Reads too much like 'Fall'Doom - which doesn't give a positive association.

Of all the suggestions so far the best one is still Z3Doom but that's not much better than GZDoom, isn't it?

The Ultimate Doom Engine, or TUDE. Then you could do some really XTREME advertisements where people are like "YEAH MAN I GOT 'TUDE" and are all riding on BMX bikes and shit and then go home and play MAP01 IN FULL COLOR 1600X1200 OMG!!!!!!

I guess the only thing I don't like about the current name is that it sounds too much like Greasy Doom.

Solarsnowfall: You have to remember that this is the same community that allows projects with names like "Deth" and "Lumpy." If we have projects with names as extravagant as those, I'm sure we can accept a port called "Greasy Doom" - right?

Hey I was one to say the GZDoom was probably the best name for the port. It was just a random thought I suppose.
