New Project
This one's bound to go a whole lot quicker, because I'm making it more arcade-style (no reloads). The project is for Edge, and I call it...
Agent Zero
Two weapons are in the game so far, the pistol replacement and the fist replacement. I'm doing something new with the graphics this time around that I think you guys will appreciate - but I'll do screenshots tomorrow, when I have something more to show.

I'm sure arctic wolf is fine, but it'd probly be updated in the projects area on the drdforums, not here. This place is for weapon mods.

The concept of this has changed just a little bit - the focus is now to make the weapons as close to Doom's as possible, while smoothing out the animations and adding special effects and such. The only weapons I'm actually changing the behavior of are the melee weapons and the BFG (and maybe the plasma rifle).
Today's progress: I added sound effects the the pistol (while giving it a complete overhaul), and added sound effects to the fist replacement. I also fixed up a sweet shotgun. Check the screenshots below.

i've seen this shotgun before. this weapon was on a early version of DuduCrazy's Guns SE. but i got bored of the gun and i've replaced with a better shotgun. in other words: Marty Kirra's Doom hunt shotgun.

The hands look a tad strange.. 2nd screenshot's fist is too huge and 1st screenshot's left hand is too tiny in comparsion to the palm.

I think the left hand in the first screenshots looks pretty good, given that it's from Hacx, which had very few hand positions to work with, IMHO. The fist in the second screenshot does look a tad meaty, but that's because Weasel had to redraw some of it. If you were to trim some of the hand below the red line in the image I've uploaded, it might look a little bit better. It's up to Weasel, though.

I'd have to say that, overall, I'm tired of working with these hands already. Of the various poses HacX had, I only managed to get four different usable poses, which is absurdly limited when you're trying to make things like shotguns and have them look good. (The "skinny arm" in the first screenshot is evidence of this.)

Fixed up and imported the G36K rifle (the one Nmn posted in the Tainted Decorum thread). Also fixed up and imported a variant of the Mjolnir Crowbar, with modified stunning mechanics from Batteries Not Included.

The pistol replacement has been deleted in favor of a modified Duke 64 pistol. This is not the same one Duducrazy is using - I have completely removed the lasersight and swapped the hands out for my custom Agent Zero hands.
The only Doom weapons I need to replace now are the plasma, SSG and BFG. I haven't an idea what to do for the BFG, or what graphics to use on the Plasma. I asked Marty Kirra to help me out with the SSG replacement, but I haven't heard back yet about how that's coming along. I am patient though - I can always work on the plasma replacement until then (the new Ion Thunder might be a good choice).
