Sorry about this being off topic but the Boots made me do it. Someone should think about redoing Hack either in GZDooM or Edge. At it's current state it is unplayable with most ports because it uses a very old version of Dehack.

I never had any trouble running HacX in modern ports - it'll even work with Doomsday.

Well if you or someone can send me the full version unpacked that would be nice. F*cking installer will not allow me to install the demo at all. I have already tried everything. Thanx.

Yes it's free but it's a pain finding the site that hosts the full and like I said the installer is not working for me. I should maybe NOT think about doing a Hacx mod since I just started working on DooM:WOW.

*Have just started work on the .wad file for this project.
*Currently working on getting the punch dagger frames into the mod and getting the frames to work out for the animation.
*Have Weasel's Pipe graphics ready for the mod at the appropriate time.
*Need to get those Shadow Warrior sword graphics! (shouldn't be too hard ;p).

*Finally got sword graphics after a period of laziness.
*Have a "Beta" weapon list ready. Weapons include:
Class 1 - Melee
Punch Dagger
Sword
Class 2 - Pistols
Starting Pistol
Silenced Pistol
Class 3 - Magnums
Large Caliber Pistol (think Desert Eagle)
Magnum Revoler
Class 4 - Shotguns
Pump-action Shotgun
Hunting Shotgun
Class 5 - SMGs
SMG
Silencer Attachment for SMG
Class 6 - Heavy/Support Weapons
Master Key Assault Rifle
Heavy Machine Gun
Bolt-action Sniper/Stealth Rifle
Class 7 - Explosives
Grenade Launcher
Class 8 - Medical Equipment
Bandages
Health Pack
Field Kit
Berserk Injection
Class 9 - Hidden (Category might be depricated)

Hidden Weapons and Upgrades/Attachments:
*Pipe
*Automatic Upgrade for Starting Pistol (can still be fired semi auto)
*Retro Pistol (Mauser C96)
*Semi Auto Upgrade for Shotgun
*Artillery Attachment for HMG
*Crossbow
*Anything Else I can think of :D
Notes about certain weapons:
*Silenced Pistol will have a stealth bonus added to the damage if you fire it close enough at a monster, making it a single hit kill at close range for most lesser monsters.
*Master Key Assault Rifle has an undermounted shotgun, hence title.
*Suppressor attachment for SMG will be a seperate weapon rather than a true upgrade.
*Crossbow will be obtained by using the silenced pistol in an interesting way.
*Pipe obtained from certain lamps by cutting them with sword. (you'll know which lamps)
*Most upgrades are found by killing certain monsters in a unique way.
*Health pickups will be replaced by medical "weapons". Using RTS, I think I can have the weapon give the player the necessary health/item per use. This might make certain maps more difficult, and others easier by allowing the player to carry their health and use it at their discretion.
*Retro pistol obtained from Nazi soldiers.

Re-Action Doom
*Punch Dagger graphics completed and put into the mod.
*Next step is to hack the sword and pipe into the project.
*Coding work is next.

I've decided to combine Commandos! Enhanced and Re-Action Doom into one mega mod. I'm currently reworking some of the weapons and weapon order. Updates probably today-ish.

Alrighty then!
Commandos: Re-Action:
*Started work on the dart gun by modifying my burst fire pistol graphics.
*Created a new weapon category: Stealth. Sniper Rifle, Crossbow, and Dart Gun are now in this category. Category comes directly after support weapons.
*Depricated hidden weapon category. Hidden items will still exist, however.
*Have removed the Mauser C96, and replaced it with Dart Gun. Dart Gun will only be found on Stealth Soldiers, which will be modifed SS Officers.
*Have removed the sword. Didn't seem very Commando-ish. In its place is the trusty AMRS. Because of this, the block move for the secondary fire has been removed. I might add a chopping attack, however.
*Have removed silencer attachment for the SMG.
*Have removed the stealth pistol. Stealth pistol is now replaced by the Dart Gun.
