Alright...the link is fixed. And I've encountered a major bug: the Colt pistol refuses to reload properly if the level has voodoo dolls in it. In addition, starting a level with a voodoo doll in it will start you with no weapon selected...I don't know what the issue is.

Ransom: The Stranger Part 2
Minor update: finally made the Auto-Pistol reload using Action_reload. I also utilized ZDoom's new A_PlaySoundEx function to make a looping gunfire sound, and made it so you can cock the weapon regardless of whether or not it's jammed (though this does eject one bullet from the gun, so don't do it too much unless you want to end up a bullet short).
Also, I've decided that I'm going to do for Ransom what I've done with Diaz - because I can't just hang on to the wad file anymore. I'm going to upload the latest beta version for all to try.

As the filename implies, this requires Heretic to run.
Known issues thus far:
- The Auto-Pistol, Gas Bombs, and Siege Cannon lack tomed versions
- The assault shotgun still reloads using alt-fire, as it is pending deletion
- Siege Cannon and ammo pickups don't look quite right yet
- Auto-Pistol's clip starts with only five rounds (need to fix up the script later)

Less people have heretic (I still wouldn't were it not for a handy mate on msn). Of course, in the end it's up to you.

I'm doing Heretic because there are few weapon mods available for Heretic. TDA's Heretech is, so far, the only one that actually changes weapon behavior.

Help Wanted
Given the way the Doom, ZDoom, and GZDoom huds work, I've determined that none of them are suitable to display all the ammo readings for ww-diaz. So to remedy the situation, I am asking for help.
What I need is a custom HUD created with ACS. That's it. No new graphics are needed (just use what's in the wad file). Here's what I'm looking for, mainly:
- Toggleable. Custom hud should only be enabled if screen size is maxed out (i.e. no default status bars are visible).
- Optimized for 800x600 screen resolution, since that seems to be what the majority of Doom players are using
- Should display health, armor, the presence of each weapon, ammo in each weapon's clip, and ammo in reserve.
- Feel free to rearrange the hud elements however you like. Preferably, make several arrangements (concepts) and I'll pick the one I like best.
- (OPTIONAL) Make health and armor display as bar graphs instead of numbers. Probably rather difficult to do, so that's why it's optional.
