You know, the more challenging you make it, the bigger the tricks get. You're just lucky I have to go to bed now.

It's not my fault I've seen stuff like this before

Try logging out now, and see what happens to this:

Hmm, either youravatar now only displays mine or it picks based on IP address...
I'm more likely to go with the "it's fixed to mine" thing but the IP one also has validity
Erm, enjay! you're here right now. you mind helping me with this one?

I'd love to, but I'm convinced that was just a use of the Username tag so you are probably asking everybody to help you.

you have a capital e in your name. That doesn't have a capital e
And SP: That's what you get due to your source access. If you were only a moderator who could do silent edits you wouldn't be able to pull that one off

This is well worth the 12 minutes of sleep I lost.

Now lets see you try without your source access -- You'd probably have a harder time getting me. You couldn't bend the function at your will

Actually, I didn't even have to log in to my source at all. I just had to use the admin panel.
Funniest part about it is, it wasn't logged (for some strange reason), so not even Enjay can help you figure it out!

What I wanted him to do is see if youravatar to him was my avatar, but he left.
The only reason why I chose him was because he was the only other one around at the moment.

I edited Anonymous. I changed "his" avatar to be yours.
Then when you logged out, you saw your avatar, not knowing that anyone who logged out would've seen that same avatar.

Good trick. I've never had expirence moderating PHPBB forums so I didn't think you could configure Anomyous like that

I noticed some blank lines in SP's post and wondered about it. What exactly is a silent edit, and why is it not generally visible?

"Silent edit" meaning there's no "This post was last edited by x at y" message. Hence the name silent
