@stx: I just did a test. Both seem to work nicely together, just the explosions of most projectiles which use the old fire are also oldened, so are bullet puffs. I'll get on a new fire for it later. When the brightness of my monitor wouldn't have been so dark all the time, I'd have never knewn why people say "It's weird o_O".
Edit: wow... This is awesome! every thing just looks so great! just... WOW!

Also, another thing I noticed is that the ArchVile fire isn't as bright as it should be. You should probably make it a little bit less transparent.

This shall be all done for the next version. I'm almost done cleaning up some code and using A_SpawnItemEx instead of A_CustomMissile (thanks to 0.0001 * Random(10000, 30000) it can have a bit more randomness in spawning the effects), and because of ST's flag 128, which shall reduce the net lag, so it can also be [ab]used online. I'm also trying to make it intefere with gameplay less...
Redone some things (especially boss deaths which turn out as infernos).
Less gameplay inteference.

Alright, first off, it probably would have been a better idea to contact Keksdose privately, with a link to the post in question, about that, instead of bumping an 8 month old thread. I don't know why people are so anal about that, since you do have a valid issue, so I am posting here before anyone complains, and locking the topic to prevent any fallout.
Secondly, I am going to introduce a new rule that certain free hosts are now forbidden for projects. You must use either a personal webspace or a host that will not delete a file due to inactivity, because this happens way too often. It will be included with the project rules announcement.
