In alphabetical order

1701-D
So, I'm a trekkie, not much of a trekkie, but I watch it sometimes. So I decided to try building the bridge of the NCC 1701-D, but I didn't even get the bridge finished...

Crusader: Jewel Case
Set to be a semi-RPG in the dark future (maybe not as dark as Fallout), I started mapping with some BROWNx textures in mind. Then I stole Wasted Youth's script for his Warhammer mod (and later got permission to use it).

My mind
This was a project started by giest118, but I don't really know what went wrong with his mind (pun intended), so I left it to rot.

"Northrend"
Using Torm's Blood resource pack, I tried making a Diablo hack'n'slash kinda mod, but my enthusiasm died.

Set in some jungle, some shit is going on, you just teleported in and the teleporter seems to have been B0RKEDED ONOS!!!11

Unnamed 2
Using Quake textures and GZDoom 3D floors, I started this map making a rope bridge (seen in shot #3) and then continued expanding it to a medieval underground city.

Warcraft Doom
I had this vision of having the player as a horde character, escaping from a dwarven prison in Dun Algaz. Then crossing the Arathi highlands before parttaking in a major battle for Hillsbrad.

The "yet" in the title is promising because some of these look very interesting: quite a bit different from many "normal" Doom maps. Jewel case and the jungle one particularly catch my eye.

Jewel case does look good indeed, also for some reason, Warcraft Doom looked pretty interesting to me as well.

Jewel Case and 1701-D look pretty nice. 1701-D in particular - not because it's Star Trek, but because I haven't seen a really good and interesting starship in Doom for a long time.

The Star Destroyer in ReX's Dawn: A Prelude add-on for his Darkest Hour mod was a cracker. I suppose it is a long time since that was released though.

When it comes to Star Trek, Chris Hansen made a map based on a Trekkie ship sometime in the past, but aww man, I was soo looking forward to Crusader. I didn't even know you stopped working on it :( Hope you finish at least half of that stuff some day.

Crusader looks nice. Even if post-apocalypitic futures used as fp-rpgs are a bit common.

Some projects look really good and are worth continuing.
...what's the texture pack used in Warcraft Doom?

You should really finish that last project... that sounds very interesting!!!

@ellmo - These screenshots look like rips from WoW itself...

Thanks for the feedback lads, I might finish something ;)
But everything is so pre-alpha it can get... Maybe I'll merge "Northrend" and Untitled 2 somehow.. I don't know.
Think I might pick up on Crusader again... Without using cheap dehacked hacks to make weapons ;)

And those textures are WoW rips, yes.

Those are some damn good WoW rips.....will Warcraft Doom have models then?

Unless someone makes an easy-to-use M2 -> MDx converter and Graf makes the models interpolate nicely, no.

In general, you just need the right tools. And the right tools are pretty limited in quantity and diversity.

ka-bump!

Because my HDs went bananas some time ago, I've lost pretty much EVERYTHING I've worked on, except the Warcraft mod. I've resumed some work on it. Yesterday I worked out some DECORATE, meaning I've got a fully functioning bow and throwing axe weapon. Agility bonuses work too, heh :P

Good to see some of your very original ideas still going on. Perhaps this reduction of options will make progress go faster :P

I wouldn't put money on that if I were you :P
