phpBB-style smilies like these

They are in my opinion the worst goddamn smilies I have ever laid my eyes on.

I fail to see why people who set up phpbb forums insist on using them instead of using their own.

Why not use cooler smilies such as those?

The people who use phpbb-style smilies are not creative and can't come up with a good excuse for why they don't offer different smiles.

It's rubbish and inexuseable, and I've had enough.
