I'm currently using Winrar, but it's a bit... slippy. I'd rather have a more structured program for adding, removing and editing entries. What's a good program for it?

I'm mostly using Total Commander which lets me work with Zips as with folders. But its primary function is that of a file manager, not a compression tool.
You might also want to try 7Zip which uses a folder based view to handle its archives and IMO is by far the best of all the compression tools out there.

Another great thing about 7-Zip is that it's free! (under the GNU LGPL)

In fact, I've decided to ditch WinZip completely in favor of 7-Zip (WinZip was a bitch to use and I got sick of getting this window telling me that my 30-day trial has ended and)

7ZIP has a special compression method doesn't it? Is GZDoom capable of 7ZIP files?

No. 7z is not zip and cannot be handled by zlib.

Quickzip works pretty well for me. Sorry, but I don't have a link... Though Google should help with that one.
