Simple Question

i know the changelog is in the svn, but why can't you just pull it from there and put in the release package? its just one extra step having to download it from there every release to see the detailed changes...

Simple Question = meaningless title.
The changelog with the binary distribution would be nice, or perhaps just a permanent direct link to the log in the SVN on the DL page to make getting it a bit more transparent.

Yes, it's a good idea: a changelog would be nice, and a best title for you post also, so that we know what about it is before opening it...

I miss reading GZDoom-related changelogs though.
(I realize I can download the GZDoom source to see GZDoom changes but that's already two things to download, which isn't a good thing considering DRDTeam.org's speed...)

i do know about the link. but i agree, a permanent link would be nice.
its not
that important, but it was just a thought i had....
