Where's the new version?

Now that ZDoom 2.1.5 has been released some may ask where the GZDoom update is.
Well, unfortunately I have to tell you that it won't come for at least a few more weeks. I had a cycling accident last week and injured my left wrist. This means I am unable to do programming work at the moment and I left GZDoom in the middle of an extensive rewrite of the texturing code. So even if I updated to the most recent ZDoom code right now there's still a lot of work to do to create a stable version - but it has to wait until the injury has healed.

I don't mind either way, this version doesn't seem to have anything really that great apart from the morphing thing IMO.

I'm sure my friend that has one arm and can type faster than ME will find this quite humourous.

Was he born missing one arm, or did he lose it? If he lost it, how long has be been without his arm? I'm sure he didn't learn/re-learn to type fast one-handed in a week. It's really hard to do things when you're used to one method, and suddenly have to start using another.
Sorta reminds me of the time I burnt my right hand to high hell with hot oil. Boy, mousing around and typing sure was fun with THAT!

Especially it it's your stronger arm that's injured. At the moment I can't even write by hand.

Also I just remembered about that nasty inventory bug which is screwing up my deathmatch games so ignore my previous post heh

That's too bad!
I hope you get better soon.
In Febuary this year I had a bicycle accident and had hurt my left wrist, too. Fortunately, it wasn't that bad. Me using a computer keyboard wasn't such a problem.

I broke a small bone my hand a few years ago and was amazed at how limiting and infuriating even the minor injury of broken bone I handn't even considered before was. Get well soon.

The good news: My wrist was x-rayed again and fortunately nothing is broken. If all goes well I might start working again next week. But it's still a lot of work until the next release. Right now scaled graphics patches in the menu etc. don't work at all.

Wth the evidence before me, I'd like to make an assumption, but I know how those get me into trouble. So I ask: are you left handed?

Yes. One of the kind who do everything with their left hand - no exceptions.
