It seems that the bad news aren't going to stop. If you were looking for the ZDoomForumsDotWad as much as I did, it's your bad day today: it is cancelled

. Sir_Alien has informed me that the cause of the cancellation is lack of interest from the rest of the team. So dies another promising WAD

.

Meh, I bet Sir_Alien will get bored after about a month and resume work on it again. Either that or the project members will realize their mistake and BEG FOR MERCY.

At least make a project dump so that somebody else can continue it!

I already suggested that he pass it on to someone else to continue it but I guess he didn't like the idea.

Too bad out of all the people that volunteered, Wills, myself, and (of course) Sir_Alien were the only ones contributing (for the most part). This was a big project, and it needed big help. Let this be a lesson to would-be project helpers.
DO NOT VOLUNTEER FOR A PROJECT JUST BECAUSE YOU LIKE THE IDEA!!!
It doesn't do anybody any good to depend on people who are only offering help because they think the WAD will be really cool. It seemed like a lot of people wanted to get in on the ground floor because they want to come along on the ride for the excitement. The thought never seemed to occur to them "Oh yea, I should probably do something, stick with it, see the thing through". It's just selfish. My respect for several members of the community has been tarnished.
Anyway, I shouldn't speak for Sir_Alien, but I'm probably the best fit to do so. To us, it's been a grand learning experience. By working with eachother, we've both learned quite a bit. We've both moved on to other projects. And in both cases, they are projects that will not depend upon others to finish. [/rant]
Anyway, I made a lot of nifty special effects for that project. If I get the time, I'll put together some demo maps and release them. But, only time will tell.

Hey, I thought I was helping too with sprites..
mind you october was a very bad month for me working on stuffs, and I swore I sent an email to Sir_Alien stating that and that it would be a while before I could get back to work on them..

looks like it either didn't get sent and i get blamed too.
still though...*cry*
I kinda feel like it was me that caused that to be canceled...

You're certainly not the only one, and probably not the worst offender.
