Sorry WolfyGirl, that's very general. Which button (is it even a button in the map, or one on your keyboard)? Does it happen on other maps? I know that my build of GZdoom is able to play map01 without crashing.

Well, the source that Graf put on drdteam.org (i mean, the official one) is still 1.1.03, the one that crashes when lowering a lift; do you remember?
To compile GZDoom correctly, you must use these source files: http://mancubus.net/svn/hosted/gzdoom
If you downloaded the source code from drdteam.org, that surely won't work.

I don't remember that, but it certainly might explain things.

WolfyGirl, if you are using the SVN source, you would be best to get yourself an SVN client, such as Tortoise SVN, to download and keep up to date with the source code revisions. Once you have it set up, it makes grabbing the latest version very easy.

it's there a Zip file?
it's kinda annoying to download the files per files.
that would take 2 hours >_>

That's why I suggested getting Tortoise SVN. Once you have that installed, you create a new directory then tell Tortoise where the files are online and it will download them all for you.

Updating your copy of the source is as easy as right clicking on the folder and picking an option. Tortoise checks the version on your machine versus the one online and updates your copy with any files that have changed.

The source files? Only the official releases are available in zip format - from the GZdoom download page.

The SVN revisions should be got from the SVN repository using an SVN client such as tortoise SVN, although it is possible to download it manually.

If you mean ready-built copies, then go here: http://svn.drd-team.org/
