Anyone have the 20031001 Hi-res Textures?

I've been looking at the hi-res textures shots on
http://iddqd.ru/textures.php and I really like a lot of the ones from the 2003 set. Unfortunately I can't find the pack anywhere.
If anyone could upload them somewhere, or post a link I'd appreciate it. Preferably on a server that gives a
REAL LINK that my download manager can see and supports resuming. Not all of us can get broadband where we live.
Thanks

The set offered by Kurikai is darn fine.
I'm actually making new textures, and improving some other ones, and I don't see the point to search elsewhere.

Well the point is choice. The more the merrier I say, that way I can pick and choose if I don't like a texture from one of the other packs. Just because something's old or different doesn't mean its worthless. If I may expound for a moment:
Code: Select all
Guy A enters forum: "Say, does anyone know of a link for Memento Mori? I just spent five hours searching Yahoo and all the old links seem to be down."
Guy B responds: "Well, so and so is making a new wad that looks pretty good and I'm working my own. So why bother?"
Guy A is instantly overcome by Guy B's logic: "You're right! Guess we might as well delete the idgames database then, no need to keep all those old wads lying around."
I don't think so.
Hmm, guess I went on a rant there. Sorry, about that. People telling me they don't see the point in my wanting a choice kinda irks me. Must be the Texan in me.
Anyway.
The new set does look pretty good from what I've seen of it on the forums. I applaud the skill and dedication of those working on it. However, that pack seems to be going mostly for the "photo-realistic" look and that's just not to my taste. While there are some shots I've seen I like, I can't get the new pack anyway. As I mentioned I'm on dial-up; four hours is about the max I can go without the connection dropping. The new pack is at one of those hidden php links my download manager can't parse, so....
On a similar note I also wouldn't mind having the pack from the "doom remake" that's listed on the comparison page if anyone knows of a link to it. I looked around for it as well, but the only link I saw was on 3dDownloads. (another download manager unfriendly site.)
Speaking of choice if anyone needs any older doom ports they can't find (or similar lost gems of the net) let me know. I've got around a terrabyte of archived weird stuff mostly from 1984 - 1999. I don't like to ask for something I wouldn't do for someone else.

I understand your point, very humorously expressed.
I agree with most of your arguments.
Thank you for this way to explain something to which I didn't think enough.
It was a pleasure to meet you!

No sweat. A Forum can be a tricky place to communicate some times, for many reasons.
Anyway, Go ahead and disregard my request. The more I look through the images, the more I realize how many of these are the same texture in all four packs. (or at least they're close enough I can't tell the difference) So I've decided to just pull the jpg of the ones I want and convert them to png.
Though I still think it would be cool to offer the current DHTP in around 10mb chunks if the server can't support download managers.
