DRD Team

Well - with the distro upgrade came with it a new version of PHP. Unfortunately one thing I did not anticipate was that PHP 5.3 would deprecate a lot of commonly used functions (I really HATE it when developers do this!).

So what this means is, the uploader site does not work.

This does not mean the end of DRD Team File Sharing, but it does mean it will be gone until I can figure out how to resolve all of the little errors. (If you have any php experience and want to help, drop me a message, I would be glad to accept it!) I apologize for the inconvenience. You may discuss this here.

UPDATE 20/April/2011: Gez has fixed the file sharing service and it is now fully operational. Thank you for the help, Gez!

What was the uploader script again? XtraUpload v2, right?

Doesn't really seem temporary. It's pretty disappointing to run into this brick wall for everything from links at the doom wiki to links to mods ...

Well, I'm sorry you feel that way, I can't just magically pull solutions out of thin air and make things work. I don't have the time nor patience to do so.

But I'll see if upgrading to CI 1.7.3 or whatever will be viable, I can't make any promises because I've no clue what it entails.

As an update, I have attempted the upgrade but failed, and I am not spending an entire day learning this framework just to fix this. So again, if you want to help and you know enough about php, drop me a message.
