Is it possible to enable mouse look firing so it's more realistic when you're firing at enemies?

I've enabled mouse look but it's a little goofy when you're aiming up, yet still auto hitting an enemy who is on a much lower plain then where you're targetting. Is this even possible?

Options -> Player Setup -> Autoaim. Set it to "never".

The thing is that it already works like that, but there is still Doom's original autoaim that kicks in and helps you target the nearest enemy in a line. So if you want to aim manually without the extreme assistance of the autoaim, just turn it off.

You can also merely set it to a lower value so its amplitude is reduced.
