First, I apologize if I am not posting this in the right section of the forum, or if this is obvious to many people. I am new to the Doom/Heretic/Hexen games, and particularly using G/Zdoom.

Anyway, I have downloaded the three pk3 files for Heretic from here,

and while Heretic now looks the same, I do not have the status bar as seen in the preview images hosted on the site for Heretic. I still have the vanilla Heretic status bar, albeit with a facelift, but I would prefer to have the status bar featured in the pictures, where it has the "ammo" in the bottom right corner, and the health in the bottom left corner. How can I go about doing this? I'd prefer this, because I like the increased view and seeing more of the staff.

That's the fullscreen HUD used on these pictures. Hit the [+=] key from your keyboard to increase the view size to fullscreen. (I assume you haven't changed the default keys.)

For further information, consult this article on the ZDoom wiki, and do not hesitate to take a look at the alternate HUD as well.
