I loaded up an old save of Hexen to check something, and I realized that the music in the level The Seven Portals was different.
The music had vocals and they were singing about sappy things. Is that the music that's always been there? Or has something changed?
Come to think of it I don't think I've ever heard the music for that level.

Anyway the music is kind of bad in my opinion, Is there a way to overwrite the music?
By the way, I already tried packing my own music in pk3 form, And every other levels music changed to what I set it to, except for that one level.

No idea what you seem to have autoloaded there but it's certainly not what's supposed to be playing there.

I figured it out, I had forgotten that it plays cd music and that my sister was borrowing my laptop. She asked me this afternoon if she could get her cd back. So yeah case closed.

Yes, Hexen will preferentially play CD music if available.

Boy, that can be a bit disconcerting.

It's a shame I don't have any computers that have working optical drives anymore, though.
