linux version?

Is there going to be a linux version?
(G)ZDooM(GL) is one of the 'big' projects without a Linux/Mac port
Now, it feels like a bitch not being able to play zdoom wads in linux...
and i'm not going to install/use windows just to play em...
I would really appreciate one!
atm i use doomsday for the graphics, but i bet, that when a linux port of this baby comes out i'll preferr this one ^^!
Not to disencourage DaniJ & Skyjake, both have done fabulous work, but i'd like to have a (G)ZDooM(GL) port for linux as well
