1.0.02

Post by Graf Zahl »

This is a bugfix release. It addresses all the issues that have been encountered with 1.0.00 and 1.0.01 in the last few days.

'fraid not. :(

This happened almost as soon as I entered the level. I walked forward, no firing or anything. As far as I am aware, there were no dynamic lights in use anywhere on the level, but disabling them in the menu did cure the problem again.

And yes, it is with 1.0.02, I double checked.

Last time I checked it worked. Can you send me the map? You must do something differently than my test map.

The map on it's own is easy. I assume you'll need all the relevant textures though? Without the textures, I don't get the problem in regular Doom - or at least the problem isn't obvious.

For what it's worth, here's the map on its own + my animdefs lump.

...but this Floor-Overlay (although it is a bug) looks cool :)

It does. It looks even better when you see the liquid warping over the floor rather than just a static image.

I'm sorry but that doesn't help me much unless I fill in the missing textures myself.

I gathered as much. The +NOALERT thing was a bug.

OK, I've sent you a PM with a link to a file that hopefully will create the problem.

Yes! The fuglyname class bug is fixed! I figured I was going to have to wait forever since that was a ZDoom specific problem.

What did you expect? That I keep bugs around which render the engine useless? When I report such problems in detail you can be certain that I already fixed them.
