In future, if your screenshots are too large to attach, use ImageShack.alterworldruler wrote:OkayThe screenshots of map09 are too large filesize then download them here

I think you'll find that no one actually likes having to download screenshots.

You shouldn't give up that easy. The maps you posted weren't the greatest, but there's a lot (I do mean a lot) of maps that are far worse. Just don't map with the aim of making the best looking/playing maps, aim for creating something you can call your own. You have a lot of potential, from what I've seen of your maps so far.
I used to think I sucked at mapping, and probably gave up quite a few times (each time only ended up being for a week at most, heh). Eventually, from practicing mapping and gaining a different view on what 'sucked' about my maps, I started to think I didn't suck as much as I thought I did. Just keep with it, you'll find your mapping sweet spot before you know it.

@Alterworldruler: Ever play my wad Scourge? Most of those levels are of a very low standard (even if they are a reasonably entertaining play), and when I made most of them, I'd been mapping for about 6-7 years, probably longer. I may have only been 13 at the time, but thay's a long time to have improved as little as I had. Of course, in the last year I have improved immensly (thanks be it to DoomBuilder and several little editing excercises coming up). Never give up!
