Where can I get r_opengl.dll?

Advanced OpenGL source port fork from ZDoom, picking up where ZDoomGL left off.

Where can I get r_opengl.dll?

Post by Nash »

None of the GZDoom redists I've tried supply r_opengl.dll.

Where can I download this file? My mod won't use OpenGL mode because I don't have it. X(

Can someone PM me or attach the file here? I remember it being really small like 64KB. I can't run my mod at all without it...

I didn't think it was needed any more. None of my GZdoom directories have it in there.
14. Mar. 2006
- Reincorporated r_opengl.dll back into the main executable. Since I have
given up on porting the engine to D3D there is no need to keep it separate.
Anyway, it's attached.

As Enjay said, you don't need it anymore. None of the recent versions try to load it at all.

Right. It turned out that trying to run GZDoom from a full-screen DOS window will make OpenGL fail to initialize for some reason.

(I run my mod from a .bat file, and my system was setup such that DOS windows are always full-screen)

So I guess I was right in deleting it all along. :D

It's easier on my eyes that way since I use a lot of command line tools.

Anyway, no big deal. I set it back to windowed mod.

Oh by the way: your post is pointless. NEXT!
