Monsters move?

Hi i have looked on wiki much lately and it has helped me much too. I have one question that i didn't find the answer too. How can i make a Monster or player move if I switch a buttom or walk over a linedef.

I think you make it use the "Thing_SetGoal" function, I'm not sure though.
