This fixes the texture problem many users were experiencing with 1.0.19.

Hmm I think there's a problem with Hi-res textures. They don't seem to be working for me but I may have put them in my wad wrong...

Check that your textures aren't in BMP format.

SLumpEd 0.5 (the latest version) can easily tell you what format the textures in your wad are in.

They're png. However, they aren't between any TX_ markers or anything if that's what's causing it?

They're not supposed to be between any markers.

In what way are they not working, and how are you defining them in your HIRESTEX lump?

I'm defining them as they should in HIRETEX. They just aren't getting scaled down so they just appear MASSIVE. They worked before this version. Hmm I'll post more info when I get home.

Ok, I have the textures in HIRESTEX as follows:

Code: Select all

define NEWASHW1 128 128
define NEWASHW2 128 128
define GRASS 94 64
define WATER 64 64
define NEWBRIC 128 128
define NEWCARPET 64 64
Those textures are in the graphics folder in my zip, but they're still no being scaled down.
