Changing Main character sprite during game play

Is it possible to changer your main player sprite within the game.

I.E. : I'd like my character to be able to kill a storm trooper and gank his uniform, would this be possible?

So in answer to your question, there is no way to do this yet.

well, you don't have to rip out the story segment just because you can't change the player sprite. Strife does something much like this at the end of the sewers. All ya gotta do is make a "stormtrooper uniform" and check for it. And once you can change player sprites, you can do that for cosmetic effect.

ZDoom already supports custom morph classes (you know, like the chicken, pig, etc).

You can try hacking around this feature to make in-game sprite changing.

As for the feature request itself - yes, if only Randy got a dollar everytime someone asked/talked about in-game sprite changing...
