Hi-Res textures displaying in full size.

Advanced OpenGL source port fork from ZDoom, picking up where ZDoomGL left off.

Hi-Res textures displaying in full size.

Post by Syfo-Dyas »

Ok, I'm at work and can't FTP at the moment so I can't put up my Wad, but what I'm doing is pulling out my work from a few months ago (when I last messed with my Star Wars project). I've updated GzDOOM and delted the old version, so I have no way of comparing what is happening now, with what used to happen, but I do recall my hi-res sprites displaying correctly, now they are showing up in there actual size.

I can at least post my HIREXTEX file which is:

define HChunk 128 128
define Hbwall1 128 128
define Hbwall2 128 128
define Hdoor3 128 128
define Hextbeam 128 128
define Hwalker 128 128
define Hwall4a 128 128
define IMPPIWA1 128 128
define IMPPIWA2 128 128
define Impwal1 128 128
define Impwal2 128 128
define Impwal3 128 128
define Impwal5 128 128
define Impwal6 128 128
define Impwal7 128 128
define Impwal8 128 128
define Impwal9 128 128
define Impwa10 128 128
define Imppipe1 128 128
define lcrate1 64 64
define lcrate2 64 64
define Impedge 128 16

All the file names are correct and nothing has been changed.

Am I the only one experiencing this?

the file name must be HIRESTEX, not HIREXTEX

that's just a typo. I found out there is a bug in the latest gzdoom that causes this...

...or so I've been told anyhow.

I don't have my old copies of gzDOOM to compare with.

Am I the only one having this issue or is this really a bug?

Just replace the 20 from the above address with the appropriate number and you will probably be able to get the version you want for testing.

Look at the bug report posted by Cutmanmike at the Bugs forum here. You'll see Graf's explanation on the bug.

aghhh, ok!

Thankx and thankx!

Going to degrade now, not that I'd know what to do with the new features anyhow. It ain't like the legacy days when you got an update every year or two. :)
