Yesterday i had some idea in head... Ruined city with corruption weapons(made by paul)! it would really cool usage of those weapons heh

This is secondary news heh i'll be debuting in megawad! soon i'll finish my map for 1monster megawad(doom community) because i'm finishing it today or tomorrow heh only finish last section and do final gameplay tests :)

I have bad news :/ my power source is farked up.... it can't handle 3d games
and i can't edit on DB in 3d mode because it would reset after 20-30 seconds of playing so i must wait to atleast a few days because then i could get way better power source in terms of power and durability :/ even it would restart at zdoom if you ask me because it uses many power..... shit happens

Besides that bad news about my power source...
belial said that my map for 1monster looks like cramped 64 size grid map from 1994 :/ i can't do better! i'm not tormentor to add perfect detail so what do you EXCEPT? this just got on my nerves... it doesn't look like 1994 map because if it would 1994 map then it could be only 25-30 sectors max i dislike to hear that my map looks like 1994 map

I would have to try the map and find out myself why he made an opinion like that or not. Provide a link there Przemo.

Belial isn't a nasty-ass. He's just a human being with his opinions. As far as I know, won't be wrapping cotton (that's a Polish term you'd get ;) ) about his opinions on people's maps. If it's bad, he won't say it's bad, he'll say it sucks. Kinda like Deathz0r. I find it just an another way to express themselves, but still useful opinions.
Don't get pissed on people's opinions, they might come handy.

Surely you can. Get up and try again. Tormentor's detail isn't perfect, it's still detail ofcourse.

That a map is from 1994 doesn't necessarily mean it's poor on details. It may be the lack of height variation, repetive texturing. Like I said, gimme the link to that 1-monster map of yous.

Some punctuation wouldn't hurt. I had a bit of time figuring out what you wrote.

Maybe i need some constructive criticism :) after last events in RL some things are freaked up!
1. 6 funerals
2. My PSU sucks so after sunday i'm getting new PSU
3. I'm little sick like my brother

Ahh, RL. That can fuck up even hardest dudes. Take me for instance. 2 years ago RL twouble made a fucking asshole out of my own self, but I learned tamage. All can be sorted out. If you freak out, you lose, so don't.

Yer map-
  • The beds and furniture are way out of sizes. Not that it's a colossal bug, but kinda looks bad.
  • You're ain't Tormentor, but you're kind close to him when you make such details. The details are very repetive. Lamps and floor panels with lava. Obviously you ran out of imagination in couple places but wanted to make stuff as quickly as possible. Patience is required while making maps IMO. But there are barely any detail done to the walls, in the end, you have the impression of an underdetailed map. Put some stuff into the friggin walls dude.
  • The map itself is utterly cramped by the way. It's almost impossible to dodge imp fire. It does force you to develop new strategies for dodging the fire. At least give some side-hallways to dodge imp fire, or just enlarge the damn map.
  • There's extremely little height variation. Not only floor variation, but almost all locales are 128 height. Modify this.
  • The layout is dull. A lot of stuff is squared. Squarey lights, squarey rooms. It felt like Wolf 3d. Connections between areas make this get boring very fast. Corridor, room, corridor. Your Xenus maps are 10 times cooler than this imptech thing. Go figure.
  • Texture variation. Sorry but I totally intolerate little usage of textures. This isn't a geometrical competition. Needs more difference. Stargr(een), Shawn and Bronze go well with Tekgrens IMO. The final areas, where more textures are used, got better, though the rocky canyon was most definitely lame. In nature stuff random the textures. Random totally! Freaky angles!
  • You keep saying the map is underdetailed and sector count. I think it's a paradox. The map has an ammount of pretiness, but you've screwed up a couple of other things.
  • The map is made for the 1 monster megawad, but the imps are utilised extremely repetive. There should be, in my opinion, much more opened spaces. The map feels very rushed, with detail and sector work to patch things up with wax. It all can be remedied still. Adding a chaingun or a chainsaw even wouldn't hurt either.

Belial is one of the few people who gives feedback that I take seriously so if you get feedback from him do something usefull with it cause imo he sure knows whats wrong with any map.
Hawkwind is pretty good with feedback as well he comes up with stuff I would never have thought of myself and he stays nice thats an good thing too.

RL and rushness screwed many things in this map! :/ that's why i want to make some maps to return to my normal skill...... once i'll get new PSU
