I have a problem with getting transparency in Irfanview

Advanced OpenGL source port fork from ZDoom, picking up where ZDoomGL left off.

I have a problem with getting transparency in Irfanview

Post by Gannon Banned »

I have used the trial version of adobe photo shop and had success getting transparency in GZdoom wihtout any issue. But I can't get Irfanview's transparency to register with GZdoom and it shows up as white in both the Slumped editor and ingame. Someone here mentioned that they use Irfanview because it's a faster alternative to Photoshop and it's free. But it just does not work for me. I even got all the plugins for it too and tried all kinds of options. I would be very happy if someone could explain what I'm doing incorrectly. Thanks and happy GZdooming!

I have seen other IrfanView images that didn't work. Obviously that thing is buggy if other tools cannot recognize the information.

I guess that's the case. Anyone know of any other free image program that's capable of doing transparency?
