Hexen has someting similair in that there's a double patch parallax scrolling sky in the Darkmere swamp map and some other levels (Sacred Grove, Orchard of Lamentations as well)

It does look like Skyfog2, but I'm almost 100% sure it is NOT. Hexen's sky has a single black color, used for transparency. Here, the dark 'stains' are more than a single shade.

My guess it's an edit of the Doom2 sky. I think I recognise some parts. However, it appears to be a pallette remapping bug rather than the author's intention. Clarify, Phobus.

Clarification:

I wanted a quick and dirty recolour of the first Doom 2 sky. I also had a hankering to see what the trick was with XWE recolouring. That mess of pixels that roughly makes up the sky of that map is the best result I had with it. Could probably have tried a few more times, but I'm quite lazy where graphics are concerned.

EDIT: However, Nash has made me a sky that fits my intentions (and with much kudos going his way, as I didn't have the drive to DIY it), so I'll implement that and update the screeny shortly(ish).

It's an EDGE mod. Look at the Doom Armory news section for more information.

Yes, sorry but I can't dedicate my entire freetime to KDiZD!
Besides that, I think if Torm as the project leader is working on other maps beside KDiZD (Sapphire, Austerity, Stronghold etc.), I should be "allowed" to do so too.

I hope you understand that!

I understand it but seeing that nobody is working anymore we might as well cancel the whole thing. At its current pace it won't get done this year as well... :(

Don't worry, we'll definitely get it done quite soon I think.
That I work on another project, doesn't mean that I don't do any work at all for KDiZD btw.
Actually, I've made pretty good progress on the Bruiser and M10 today and yesterday, but it just isn't enough to show it off to the others yet!
