ok, while i think of a way to start fixing some problems with Criminal Doom, i'll announce another mod i was working on. i call it Project: KatmanDoom.
Originally, this was going to be the new name for my abandoned megawad called The Curse of UAC. there are various reasons that made me to cancel the project, being the main one my laziness and my lack of imagination, not only to create the levels, but also, to make some scripted sequences. what happens is that i don't know ACS. i've never made a scripted sequence before. i read some tutorials out there but they was very hard to understand at least for me.
As for the megawad, i would be a 2-episode megawad for Doom/Ultimate Doom. the episodes i was going to replace was The Shores of Hell and Inferno. the first one originally would be set on Deimos just like the original doom, but with one huge difference: the moon wasn't floating above hell. the main evidence of this is that i modified the SKY2 texture to remove the red sky.
Then, i've decided to make the megawad an attempt to look like the alpha versions of Doom while adding some of my own creations.
Back in 2005, i was getting very tired of working on the megawad. i was in charge of everything on the project. So, the megawad was abandoned.
Some days ago, i've decided to "ressurect" the project, but now in the form of a weapons mod and with the name of Project: KatmanDoom.
This is a enhancement mod for the original Doom weapons, but it will be for Ultimate Doom, so, i will not replace the Super Shotgun.
So far, i've only added these weapons:
- Pistol (the one ripped by Jstanf35. modified the weapon to remove the Duke Nukem symbol, and recoloured the hands to black.)
- Shotgun (from Doom Forever.)
- Pulse Rifle (from AVP1. but, i ripped the weapon from the AVP tc. personally, i love this weapon.)
- Chaingun (An edit of mine. i've combined the Doom 3 chaingun with the chaingun from the Ultimate Doom Forever. i didn't like the weapon. the barrels are awful. maybe i'll rip the Quake 2 chaingun as it looks much like the original Doom Chaingun.)
- Added bullet and shell casings. i ripped the casings from the alpha versions of Doom. for some reason i don't know, those casings never made it into the final game.
Edit: i'm not only enhance the Doom weapons, but also i'll add some of my own ideas. (see the Pulse Rifle and Pistol)

Long time i don't post here, eh?
Announcements:
- The mods Criminal Doom and Project: Katmandoom will be put on hold for now. again, it's my lack of ideas.
- i'm now working on another mod: Guns and Black Magic. as the name says, it will focus on real (and fictional too.) and magical weapons. (oh yeah, some demon weapons, too.)
So far, i only added the MP-7. it's not the one from Imagination World. instead, it's a HL1 model rip.
Next weapons to be possibly added:
- Life leech from Blood
- Benelli M3 (You guessed it right. a CS rip! at least i think it's better than a immoral conduct rip)
As for the Super shotgun replacement, which weapon it's better to replace? The scatter gun from Redneck Rampage or the Turok 2 Shotgun?

Meh on the CS rip, if you're gonna rip it, at least use the one from marines of UAC, or better yet, get a custom model from FPS banana. Something tells me you might get an MP5 there as well. As for the shotgun, if you can't get the turok 2 shotgun, then by all means use the redneck rampage one, it's a good shotgun anyways.

it's been a long time since i don't post at the doom armory forums. i was busy studying a lot to get good grades. as for the Guns and Black magic mod, i am thinking to change the name to DuduCrazy's Guns 2.
Update: I oficially decided that the Guns And Black magic mod will have it's name changed to DuduCrazy's Guns 2.

i decided to stop working on Criminal Doom and Katmandoom for now so i can concentrate on the latter one. now the weapons:Chronoteeth wrote:Criminal doom, katmandoom, and this guns and black magic. Can't wait to play :3
- Fists/Kick
- Katana (yeah. that weapon from Shadow Warrior. i'm finding a way to modify the weapon to remove that thing on the arms and add the black gloves.)
- Glock 19 (guess what, it's just another CS skin rip. i guess i'm running out of ideas.)
- TR-150 Combat Shotgun (basically it's a double-barreled and pump-action shotgun. i combined the Duke3d shotgun with the scatter gun from Redneck Rampage.)
- Desert Eagle (Same as the Glock 19: another cs rip.)
- X-4500 Plasma cannon (Ripped from Turok: Dinosaur Hunter)
- Omega Cannon (Ripped from Hacx)
weapons i'm planning to add:
- Pistol from the Grins of Divinity mod.
- Alien Weapon from Turok: Dinosaur Hunter.
