GZDoom crashes whenever I kill myself with any explosives. The Rocket Launcher along with the ninjascrolled pistols, shotgun, and sub machinegun can crash GZDoom if you get killed yourself with the explosions from those guns. I didn't test to see if this happens with the pipe bombs, but I'll bet it does.
How do i fix this? i don't know how it started. i also had this problem on my computer.
Another suggestion of mine is to use the higher-quality HUD from Descent 2
that would block the screen entirely.
There's a bug with the upgraded fists reverting back to their previous idle states.
That's because i didn't think of a upgraded alternate fire. Maybe i'll make an alternate attack like the one from ww-stranger.
- Replaced the Sin machinegun with a modified version of Scuba Steve's assault rifle
- Remade the dual desert eagles
- Changed the firing sounds for the laser assault cannon.
Next:
- I will remove the pipebombs. but before i do it, i'll make a separate wad, put the pipebomb resources and submit it to the armory resource wad. i want to find a way to make the people regain the interest in this project.
- New weapon added: Nailgun (Source: "Chasm: The Rift")
- Added a cool lasersight for the RP-33 Assault Rifle.
As for the gzdoom crash problem, unfortunately it's still there and i still don't know how do i end this. i made a topic at the gzdoom forums but no one ever replied. if everything else fails, i will warn about the bug in the readme file.
*Actually, since there's no beta version available for download, i ripped only the first frame from a photo on the official IW website. I heavily modified it to make it look better on the doom palette.
Sounds: Railgun from Quake 4
- Modified the Shock Rifle's primary attack. now it fires a long stream of lightning instead of using the A_Railattack function. In addition, it has a much shorter range and the second highest ammo consumption just behind the fusion cannon.
- I finally found a way to make the dual desert eagles fire one side at a time.
- Added the Hi-res version of the Pyro-gx cockpit. Unfortunately, i can't make a widescreen version of it because i don't have a widescreen monitor to test. Anyways, if someone have this kind of monitor and wants to make a widescreen version of the hi-res D2 cockpit, feel free to save this image below and modify it:
I would imagine that simply stretching the image to 1280x768 would do. You could just simply tell us widescreen-users to fuck off and play the game in 1024 =p
Finally, my pc is working again. i had some serious problems regarding some kinda conflict between my HD and my DVD drive but now everything is fine. i made yet another upgrade. here's my new specs:
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 (Pentium D or whatever) 3.2 ghz
HD: 120GB SATA
Video Card: It's still there. (MSI GeForce 7300 LE)
RAM: 1,2GB
8X DVD-RAM Drive (I finally managed to install Need For Speed Most Wanted. I never liked the newest NFS games but this one is awesome!)
Now, the usual updates on DuduKrazy's Guns 3:
- The modified Scuba Steve's assault rifle was awesome but i was getting bored of it because it's too cartoonish. So, i decided to rip the shotgun from Quake II: Lost Marine and the pickup icon from Temple of the Ancients.
