Hey.

When i did maps for doom2 i used a program called WhackEd2 to "hack" doom2 and change pickup messages, change monsters hp etc. Now i started to do maps in hexen engine instead, as i'm new to it i have no idea if there is any "whacked2" like program for it.

I want to change hp damage, and pickup texts. I searched some on google but can't find a thing. If there is no program that i'm asking for, is there anyway i can change it on other ways?

Sorry for my bad english, (probobly cause i'm from sweden :P).

Ty for great forum btw, it helped me alot by just searching for my problems and often find what i need.

There is/was a program for Hexen that was similar to Dehacked/Whacked. It was called Hex. However, I'm not aware of any source ports that support it other than the original DOS exe.

If your mod is intended for GZdoom though, everything you want (and far more besides) is likely to be possible using the methods built in to Zdoom/GZdoom, such as DECORATE and the language lump.

ok, i learn more about the decorate lump then, shouldn't take long before i learn it i hope. Thanks for the answer.
