Probably a simple question...

Advanced OpenGL source port fork from ZDoom, picking up where ZDoomGL left off.

Probably a simple question...

Post by real_trisk »

Hey all...This is probably a simple question, but I can't figure it out and I can't find anywhere where it is explained...

I'm trying to use the code line:
Sector_SetPlaneReflection (183, 0, 24);

In my BEHAVIOR lump. When I compile the script, I get the error:
"Line 42 in file "script.acs" ...
script.acs:42: Function sector_setplanereflection is used but not defined.

The ACS compiler did not compile your script.

I'm guessing I need a special GZDoom definitions .acs file to be #include -ed in my script, but I can't find any such thing anywhere...

I'm using Doom Builder version 1.68, which is the newest I believe...and I have #included "zcommon.acs" already, but it must not contain the proper definition...

...so...help?

Get the latest ACC from ZDoom's downloads page and copy it into your DB directory. The one in DB is far too old and doesn't contain many newer features.

I saw it but the answer is no. I don't have time for such things, unfortunately.

i guess that GZDoom will be on hold for a few months.
I remember that deadline you had on an Tuesday.
hopefully you will bring out new Source Codes with more features.
At least others can also work on Features, but okay.
Hope you will update GZDoom sooner or later, Graf Zahl. ;)

I'm sure he'll continue updating GZDoom as he always has, I think what he's referring to is an ongoing thing and he just can't whatever it is into his schedule.

If I'm wrong, you can always correct me, Graf. :)

Why? The last SVN commit was only about 9-10 days ago and Graf has said that he is busy. I think that assuming "a few months" is a bit pessimistic. Graf is clearly a busy person with a lot on ATM. I'm amazed he manages to update (G)Zdoom as much as he does.
