[Won't change] Movement does not continue along/w map change

[Won't change] Movement does not continue along/w map change

In Strafe, if you are holding the up arrow, and cross a line, for example, into the power plant, the next level loads, and the HUD says Autosave complete, but you stop moving, even if you keep the up key pressed. You have to let go and press it again. Concidering Strafe did this to make the whole game seem like a "world" instead of maps, shouldn't the engine check and start the player moving again if a movement key is pressed when changing maps.

Maybe. But I won't change it because it might have much more severe unwanted side effects.

Yea, yourright. What about a compatibility option? Although you did say the menu was pretty hardcoded

The entire event handling is different in (G)ZDoom than in the original games. If I mess with this stuff some other things may stop working properly. That's why I won't change it.
