PNG screwups in XWE?

I'm trying to load some palletized images into XWE, and stick them between the TX_* entries. However, I can't seem to get them to import, while preserving thier palletes.
I've heard people mention that you have to load the file as raw, but I can't find the option on how to do it? Is there some sort of trick to loading the files that way, or am I just not seeing what might be right in front of me?

In order to load a files raw data thru XWE, you need the newest Beta Version.

It's in the entry drop-down like the normal "load" command.
