Yeah, that's what it does. I dunno why, it makes no sense as far as I can tell. This problem does not happen when I don't use the Hi-Rez stuff.
Yeah, I wanna play with the regular Evilution tunes when I play Evilution, even if I use the Hi-Rez stuff. As far as I can tell, all relevant files are up-to-date.
Here's my .INI & .BAT files for it, though it's probably just God fucking with me again, like he always does in every little thing I ever try to do.

This section in your ini:
Shows the stuff that is always loaded when you use TNT as your IWAD. Would one of those files be causing your problems? For example, I don't know this file but, what does the doom-all-remix-Sycraft-v4.pk3 contain? That looks like it could be a music remix WAD and if it contains remixes of the normal tunes, then you'll hear those instead of the TNT tunes.
Code: Select all
[TNT.Autoload]
Path=.\PWADs\Doom Hi-Rez Textures & Models\zd-dhtp-20101225.pk3
Path=.\PWADs\Doom Hi-Rez Textures & Models\DS-Models.pk3
Path=.\PWADs\Doom Hi-Rez Textures & Models\pk_doom_sfx.wad
Path=.\PWADs\Doom Hi-Rez Textures & Models\doom-all-remix-Sycraft-v4.pk3
Path=.\PWADs\Final Doom - Evilution\TNT31.WAD

Ah, thanks much for replying.
But before I compose my post AGAIN, DynDNS.com keeps saying some crap about this forum being some kinda spyware shit. Of course I don't buy it, and don't know why they foist upon me such a stupid message, but they sure did close my browser window after I took like nearly a half-hour to post and then pressed the Submit button. Fuckin' jackoffs! Wish they'd quit being pussy cowards and come right here to close MY windows, so I can then kick the shit out of those numbskulled morons! That was the second time that happened this night alone, see!
Anyway, I removed the file and the Final Doom: Evilution music returned, with no seeming ill effects to the hi-rez stuff or anything else (AFAIK).
Still, I gotta wonder what the file actually does--I'm skeptical that there would be a 261MB file just to do nothing more than play Doom II: Hell On Earth's music. Furthermore, in the filename it says "v4", but there's a similar "v5" file for Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders.
Perhaps you (or anyone) can have a look and analyze it to at least roughly determine its purpose.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19002945/doom-a ... aft-v4.pk3 (~261MB)
BTW, if you (or whomever) would like the other three files, lemme know (though I think that they're already on the inet somewhere to be acquired).
Yeah, it's kinda bugging me what that file is for! hehe
I got it from inside MasterFaster's Doom High-Resolution Pack v4.1. Lotsa great stuff in there, even though I still don't know what much of it is yet hehehehe
