Activating Map Markers in hubs

Post by Dave_B »

I'm currently having trouble trying to activate a map marker in one map from another, within a hub based wad. It just doesn't seem to work. I use acs to execute the script in the map where the map marker is from the current map, but when i enter the map with the marker in it, it comes up blank. What's the best way to trigger a map marker from a separate map within the hub?

Are you sure you set everything up properly? The method you describe is precisely how it should be done.

Yep, I did it exactly how I've written it. Didn't seem to work when the map being referenced in the ACS script came up with nothing when there should've been something. Only seemed to do it when the map was first loaded. I've messed around a bit and come up with a bit of a work around which for the most part seems to work ok.
